Julie Strianese C...Playing soccer in college was never a question for me. I've always had such a strong connection to the game and I am a big competitor on and off the field. Tearing my ACL my junior year made me realize how much this sport means to me. Being away from the field for such a long time was a struggle. Physical therapy and self motivation was/is so impactful for my journey and I couldn't thank it enough. The hard-work I have put in to just be back on the field and doing what I love is something I need continue at the college level. I am confident enough in my soccer ability to play soccer at the highest possible level.
I am both dedicated to soccer and school, and this is something I would like to balance while attending college. I am just as devoted to soccer as I am to my grades which makes me different from other recruits. I take AP and Honors classes and have been a varsity starter for my High School since Freshman year as well as an attacking midfielder on New York Surf's Academy team with coach Kelsey Yam. I hold a 99.00 GPA and will continue to keep my grades high through my senior year and college.
