Early on in my soccer career I always knew that I wanted to play in college. It's been a goal of mine from such a young age and still is. I've always had strong connection to the game. I'm the type of player that never wants to give up and will always go for the win. I am such a big competitor and never want to lose. Growing up with my parents I have always been taught to stay humble and play for your team and yourself. I had the best coach growing up that not only taught me soccer, but developed my character as to what I believe helped me in today's world. When I was little, I definitely struggled with confidence in my success. I never thought I was good enough even with all the awards that came along. I always thought there was more to improve on. Now as a maturing teenager, I am confident enough in my character and soccer ability to play at this level of soccer.
I am both dedicated to soccer and school, and this is something I would like to balance while attending college. I am just as devoted to soccer as I am to my grades which makes me different from other recruits. I take AP and Honors classes and have been a varsity soccer starter for my High School since Freshman year as well as an attacking midfielder on New York Surf's Academy team with coach Kelsey Yam.
