Kayden Cote '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kayden Cote. I was born on April 8th, 2008. I lived in Bar Harbor, Maine, for most of my life, then moved to Pinehurst, North Carolina, due to the military, and now Clarksville, Tennessee. I've had a strong passion for soccer since I started my 6th grade year. I am now an upcoming Junior at West Creek High School in Clarksville, Tennessee, trying to pursue my career in the sport I love.

I am a 6 '2" Center Back with a dominant right foot. I can play anywhere in the back line and am also a center defensive mid. 

• Club season/ Travel season

When I first started playing soccer and took it seriously, I played at a club called ACS, also known as AC Sandhills, which is located in Southern Pines, North Carolina. It was a Division 3 club when I was there. 

• It was my third year there, and that's when I decided to switch to a club called NC Fusion. In my first year at NC Fusion in the 2022-2023 season, we finished first in our bracket at the ECNL RL level.  We then won the mid-Atlantic regionals to bring us to Nationals in California. From there, we proceeded to make it to the finals, but we lost there. After the season for NC Fusion, I got offered a spot on their 08 ECNL team, but I did not take it because I wanted to play high school soccer.

During the 2023-2024 season for ECNL RL, I was named captain of my team. We ended up finishing the season 13-2-1, and because of that, we won the conference and were brought to regionals again, only this time losing in the finals during a penalty shootout. 

• Now that I am in Tennessee, I am playing for Nashville United Soccer Academy U 17.
