Benjamin Davis '26 Recruiting Profile

I'm Ben Davis, a high school junior from Memphis, TN.  and I am striving to  play soccer at the collegiate level. I started playing soccer when I was 4, and my love for the game has only grown stronger over the years.  I have been playing club soccer since 4^th grade and currently play for U17 LOBOS Rush ECNL-RL. Our team won Tennessee State League, which has amplified my excitement about playing in the upcoming President's Cup in Dallas. I played the CB position this year for club and feel that my natural strengths are best utilized in this position, however, I have played in the midfield most of my life. I believe that this gives me versatility on the field and provides options for coaches. 

I also attend Bartlett HS, one of the largest public high schools in TN. I have played varsity since my freshman year and we were state semi-finalists in 2023 and currently ranked #2 in the state. We are heading into playoffs after completing an undefeated season! My mindset on the field is to work hard, be flexible and be willing to put myself on the line for the team. 

Another example of my passion and dedication to the game is that I traveled to England in December of 2022 with an ODP team, where I had the opportunity to train and play against some of the top local club teams.  I was also able to tour Premier League professional stadiums and watch a Premier League game in person.  It was a life changing experience and deepened my love of this sport. 

Off the field, I excel academically and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I've taken advanced classes all through high school, maintaining a 4.33 weighted GPA. I believe that the classroom is just as (if not more) important than the field and it is a priority in my life.  I am looking forward to meeting with college coaches and players in hopes of finding the best college fit and my future team family.
