My name is Lucas Jeffery and I am looking to play at the college level for soccer and graduate from a good school. But firstly I'll share a couple things about myself. I was born and grew up overseas in Hong Kong playing soccer for as long as I can remember. Soccer actually started for me as a good rehab option to gain back fundamental motor skills after I lost all of them due to an accident I had when I was 4. I've been playing travel soccer since I was 7 and haven't stopped since. Soccer is my passion sport while I also like to play tennis as a hobby, playing Varsity for my school.
I am a dedicated player, and I never give up. I learned what perseverance meant after my accident, and have applied this to all aspects of my life. Soccer was a big part of my recovery, and since then I have sought ways to help others through the sport by volunteering for Top-soccer (Soccer organization dedicated to helping those with disabilities), and also getting my referee certification. On the pitch, my perseverance is demonstrated by . Off the pitch, my perseverance is demonstrated by diligence with my school performance, helping others and doing my community service. In 2020 I was the recipient of our schools Phillip Dupont award, given to the student who most embodies courage, care and compassion.
When I go to college I want to get at least a bachelor and I preferably would like to get a masters as well.
