Justin Varela '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11 outside back from Midlothian, Virginia and will graduate in 2021. In my Freshman and Sophomore years, I started for my high school team, helping to win a 4A Regional Championship in 2018. I was selected to Second Team All Region for both seasons. I have played Travel soccer for FC Richmond for the last 10 years and am currently a member of the elite U19 Magic. I am a starter at right back/outside midfield and we are currently in the top five for our age group within the Club Champions League(CCL).

I would like to attend a school where I fit athletically along with academically. I am interested in all schools in Virginia as well as those in the Mid-Atlantic Region. As far as athletics, I would love to play at a school where I can have an immediate impact on the team and play at a high level at the same time. Academically, although my major is currently undecided, I am looking for a school with a wide variety of courses of study.
