Personal Statement

I am a dedicated, curious, hard-working student in the classroom and in the pool. I am a future engineer and am fascinated by how things work and why they don't. I apply that same inquisitive approach to my swimming. Part of being a scientist is understanding failure is a stepping stone to success. I am no stranger to hardships but I emerge wiser and stronger after each one. I also try to stay positive and offer that same energy and support to my teammates.
