Tennis is not all just about the strokes for me. Although I do understand the physical benefits of rigorous practice for 5 to 6 days a week, the mental undertaking required to become an outstanding player is also clear to me. I strive to find competitive oppurtinities that can better my physical, and mental, game. I believe that maintaining proper attitude, belief, and confidence does more for ones game than just good physical technique, although you do need both to succeed. Besides my practice on the court, I work diligently to maintain a high GPA, and for grades that qualify me for honor roll every semster. Between my best efforts to excel as a tennis player, and my hard work to stand out as a student, I believe I can be a valuable addition to any college program.
