PR: 14'1' from 5 left approach. Holding 14' on a 14' 180lb pole.
When I began pole vaulting at the end of freshman year, we didn't have a coach nor a program; I was the first vaulter Hinsdale Central had in over two decades. Since then, I have recruited 6 more vaulters, a volunteer coach, and developed a competitive program. I am now entering my Senior year and my 3rd full season of competition. I maintain a cumulative GPA of 5.81 on a 5 scale in an all-honors, AP curriculum; and I have scored a 36 on the ACT
I hope to attend a school that can provide outstanding academic as well as athletic opportunities. I consider myself coachable and driven to achieve my goals. I love the technicality and the process of the vault and I'm an avid student of the discipline. I also happen to be just crazy enough to have a passion for using a pole to hurl myself into the air.
