Brennan Oleynichak '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brennan Oleynichak, and I’m a dedicated junior at St. Joseph-Ogden High School in St. Joseph, Illinois. I enjoy sports, specifically football and track. I qualified for state my 8th grade year, and have continued to improve, while maintaining a strong GPA. I would love to compete at the collegiate level in discus and am willing to work hard to get myself there. Standing at 5'8" and weighing 190 lbs, I bring power, focus, and discipline to every practice and competition. I’ve consistently improved my technique and marks through hard work and a coachable mindset. This past Saturday, I threw discus 153' 9" and state qualifying distance is 145' 9". My goal is to continue to improve my technique and increase my distance.

Beyond sports, I’m just as committed in the classroom. I've been on high honor roll every quarter of my high school career so far, and pride myself on being a disciplined student-athlete who manages both sports and school with integrity and time management.

I’m looking for a college program that values hard work, team culture, and academic success, and one where I can grow as a thrower and contribute to the team. I'm excited to bring my energy, discipline, and commitment to the next level.
