Evan Poole '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’2 400m runner from Baton Rouge,LA. I hold the 400m record for my school along with becoming the 2nd fast runner in my district in my first year of running along with a 4.0 GPA.

I mainly am looking for colleges in the south, but remain open minded to any college that can afford to allow me to have a successful life not only as an athlete but as a student. I looking to work towards Electrical Engineering as a major but this is open to change within my high school years. As a teammate I am supportive and competitive. I will push my teammates to be the best that they can be while hoping that they do the same for me. At the end of the day I am looking for a college that allows me to play the sport I love to the best of my abilities while allowing me to also enjoy my life out of it. Allowing me to leave college successful either way.
