Personal Statement
I started this sport as a freshman because it seemed interesting to me and I instantly fell in love with it, never wanting to put the implements down. Now going into my third year I have huge expectations for myself which are to be recognized as an All-State thrower. During my sophomore season it hit me that I definitely have what it takes to be a college athlete and that’s when I decided to put everything I’ve got into this sport.
I’ve learned through my first two seasons that this isn’t a sport of natural ability and that you really need to work to become elite. That has taught me commitment and given me a solid work ethic and desire to be the best. I know college will be great for me not only athletically but academically as I want to go into business. I know I have what it takes to make an impact for your team!
