After the 2021 Track and Field Season I focused on weight training in the summer then had a fun football season in the fall. I was able to start a number of games on varsity football as an offensive tight end. Our team made it to the Sectional Round for football. In the winter I continued my weight lifting and finishedthe 2021-2022 basketball season contributing to the varsity and junior varsity team at the center position.
The team aspect of football and basketball is great and I am looking forward to our track and field team in the spring, but also my individual competition. I will be starting my spring training in February, even while the basketball season continues and intend to work on my vertical and leg strength through weight training.
Academically, I am taking 4 college level courses in the 1st Semester. Algebra, Composition 1, World History and Psychology. 2nd Semester I am taking 3 additional college courses. In March I will be taking the ACT's and have been preparing hard for the exams. In addition since Junior High I have been involved in band, playing the trumpet. I currently play on the Symphonic and Jazz Bands.
For the 2022 Track and Field Season, my goal is to make state in the 110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles and high jump!
