I truly believe that hard work pays off, and so far my success is testament to that belief. As a freshman I earned all conference honorable mention in the 400, 4x200, and high jump, as a sophomore I took it a step further and placed 8th at the section AA state meet in the 400 while also participating in the 4x200. I also placed second in the 400m in my section and our 4x200 was section champion, as a team we finished second. I earned all conference honors in the 400 and 4x200 and all conference honorable mention in the high jump. My responsibility has been noticed by my peers and coaches as I have been named a captain for the 2019 varsity season as a junior.
