Dedication, hard work, and determination to succeed both academically and physically is a big part of who I am as a student athlete. Participating in sports is equally as important as maintaining my schoolwork and GPA. I find it extremely rewarding to challenge myself to be the best I can on and off the field. Growing up I was always playing some type of sport. Through this I learned a lot about commitment to a team and how I see myself as an individual athlete.
It was during my Sophomore year in High School when I fully began to focus solely on my skills in Track and Field. It was the following year that my determination to succeed paid off. I finished my Indoor Track season placing 5th in the NH State Championships for High Jump. This same season I was presented with the Pelham High School Athletics Director's "Pythons Pride Award" for dedication, passion, sportsmanship, and always representing Pelham Athletics with integrity.
If there is one thing that Track and Field has taught me is competing against another athlete to win is a major goal, but beating my own personal best is what drives my ambition. Ultimately my goal for college is to receive a Degree in Business while still competing in Track and Field at the Collegiate Level.
