Shane Sloan '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Shane Sloan I am a thrower in the class of 2024. I currently attend Cherokee High School in Southern New Jersey. I am looking to go for accounting or business economics. I am looking for a school that would push me to my limits and working hard as a team to accomplish a team championship. I know I might not be the biggest or strongest but I am willing to push myself and my teammates to achieve or potential, as a person, student, and athlete. I throw discus and shot put. We do not have weight or hammer throw in the state of New Jersey but I would really enjoy to learn. I just started throwing last winter but after training in the off season I’ve been able to improve my PRs from last season by 30 feet in discus and 10 feet in shot put. I would love any opportunity I got and willing to work as hard as possible to bring the program a championship.
