Personal Statement
I am JackEdward Schmick, a senior at Sussex County Technical High School in Northern New Jersey, specializing in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, sprint medley relay, distance medley relay, and 4x800m for the varsity track and field team. As I look ahead to my college years, I am fueled by a dual commitment to academic excellence and competitive running. My passion for psychology propels my academic pursuits, and I actively contribute to my school community by mentoring younger students. Beyond the classroom and track, I am an Eagle Scout, dedicated to community service and volunteering. Since fifth grade, my journey in running has been defined by a relentless work ethic, resulting in continual improvement, and I am yet to have my best performance.
