As a track athlete, I am confident that I stand out from other athletes not due to skill or rank, but because competing is my passion. For the past three years I've dedicated myself entirely to this sport, giving up other sports after sophomore year to jump year round. My commitment to high jump drives me to continue my athletic career at the next level. I am equally focused on excelling in my education. As a leader amongst my classmates, challenging myself, and laying the foundation for my future education is a priority.Track and Field has taught me valuable life lessons about perseverance, setting goals, and pushing beyond my limits. This mindset extends to my being part of a team, as I strive to lift up teammates who may be feeling down due to a tough day or uncontrollable circumstances. I believe that these qualities make me a standout candidate for recruiting, not just for my ability to score points for my team, but due to the qualities that fuel success both on and off the field.
