Sports have and forever will be in my DNA. My parents both excelled in sports at the national level. They pushed me to do many different sports including but not limited to soccer, swimming, track and field, taekwondo, and triathlon.
In grade 8 I developed my long-lasting passion for track and field. I had the talent for it, however, I wasn’t that good. After not qualifying for a mini regional school board meet I have signed up for the Niagara Olympic Track and Field Club, where I developed my skill through a strong work ethic. Two years later, I have become the third-best U18 high jumper in the National Championship of Canada.
My future goals are to make a living with track and field, uplift the sport to the highest level possible, and become a role model like many of the great athletes.
