Daniel Fournier '11 Recruiting Profile

1. My name is Daniel Fournier, I'm almost 5'11", I weigh around 145lbs, currently in 12th grade (graduating), with an over 80% overall average, but returning for an extra year at Ecole Secondaire Catholique Thériault in Timmins, Ontario, Canda.  I'm currently the 3rd/4th best long distance runner in my school due to the fact that my teammate and I are extremely close.
2. My most important accomplishments are my two OFSAA (Ontario Federation of School Athlectics Assocition) silver team medals from 2008 and 2010 cross-country.  I have been competiting for four years straight with my high school and plan to do so for one more year since I'm not too sure on what I would like to do for my post secondary studies.
3. What can I offer a team?  I believe I can offer great leadership, I was captain of my hockey team for the past two years.  I can also bring determination and perseverance because I am an individual who never gives up and won't stop till I reach my full potential.
4. I have not decided where I would like to go to school.  But all I can say is that if I get the oppertunity to go to the United-States for school, it would open so many new possiblities for me.
5. I am open to colleges and universites.  The size of the school is not a issue as long as they offer the program that I would like to go into.  But to keep it simple, I'm open to many options.
7. I am not 100% sure yet but the program I would most likely be looking for is Kinesiology or Human Kenetics to become a Chiropractor.
8. My athletic goals would be to be part of a university or college team to have a positive impact on my teammates and continue my training that I started in high school to eventually be able to run sub nine minutes in the 3000m and sub six minutes in the 2000m steeplechase (after high school is 3000m steeplechase).
9. I have not written my SAT's yet but plan to in the next school year.
