Personal Statement
I am a senior at Glen Allen High School in Richmond, Virginia. Track has been a part of my life since the 6th grade. Yes, I am registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Some describe me as an athlete; others know me as a scholar. My teachers and coaches say that I'm talented both in the classroom and on the track. I want to be remembered as an excellent student, not just as an amazing athlete. At my high school, I'm a part of the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Partners For Success (Peer Tutoring), and a part of the football team. On my free time, I spend my time at the local Children's Museum. Throughout my academic career, I've retained perfect attendance and honor roll. I feel that being a part of a team will be beneficial in making me a better overall person. Currently, I hold the 500m record for my school.
