Personal Statement
I was introduced to volleyball towards the beginning of my junior year; however, I didn’t get the chance to play that year because of my commitment to the baseball program.
I learned the basics of volleyball play at the beach and on sand courts. When I stepped on the court for the first time, volleyball became much more than a sport to me. I dedicated myself to become the best I could be. Thanks to a few friends of mine and my club coach, over the course of a few months I was able to make the JV team at my high school.
I am currently using my leadership skills as a member of ASB and as an Eagle Scout to push my team to be better. I know that no matter what team I am on I will always compete and give everything I have!
