Frank Sankovitz '25 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals sparked when my parents first put me into the water. I have been swimming since the age of 5, and it has always been my goal to go big. Swimming was my 'thing' growing up in Minnesota, but when the pandemic hit, a sudden family move to Utah put me on the path to water polo. I started playing with a club team in Park City, and quickly progressed to the ODP Mountain Zone and Junior Olympic teams for Utah. I thrive on being in the water with a team and using my swimming speed to win sprints and out swim my opponents. I was selected for a Centennial scholarship at my high school as an incoming freshman based on my grades, character and leadership qualities. Attending Judge Memorial Catholic High School, which is the number one rated high school in Utah, has not been easy academically, but I have worked hard and have found a place as a leader on the swim team. That team keeps me in shape and ready to swim fast for water polo and has solidified my desire to be a collegiate athlete.
