Katherine Valentine '24 Recruiting Profile

I would really like to play volleyball in college; however, I am looking for a good fit between academics, school culture, and team culture. Academics are very important to me because it lets me explore my curiosities. I have always loved school, and I would like to continue this love with new opportunities in college.  I want to major in engineering because of the incorporation of math, science, and creativity, so I am looking for a school with a strong program in that area. 

I am a hard worker both on the court and off, and I expect the same of my teammates. What I enjoy about being a libero is not only am I relied upon to dig every ball so that my team can do what they do best, but I also lead the backrow in terms of defense and serve receive. I love being a leader by bringing energy and positivity to the court.
