Hello! My name is Devon Rees and I love playing softball! My dream is to play ball at the college level and to be the best player I can possibly be. I would like to go into Criminology/Forensics in college/university and become a behavioral analyst, a specialist in criminal psychology, or a forensic blood splatter analyst.
I am very competitive and have a deep love for the game of softball. I am a very relaxed, focused player, with a "heads-up" aptitude for the game. I work very hard to improve my speed, strength and agility year round. I play for the Victoria Devils "A" 2000 Girls Fastball team in Victoria, British Columbia as well as the Washington based Rijo Select team. I also play soccer for the Vancouver Island Wave team in the British Columbia Soccer Premiere League. I use my soccer training to my advantage for softball when working on conditioning and "quick feet" skills. I am a straight A student and have been on the honour roll every year through middle school and highschool. I feel that I display leadership and commitment both on and off the field and am directing my energies towards being an excellent student, softball player and individual.
