I started playing softball when I was 6 years old and I have been playing ever since. I can't imagine what my life would be like without softball. I played Rec Softball for La Costa Youth Organization, where my all star team qualified and completed in the California States tournament in the 8U, 10U & 12U divisions (B Districts/States).
Since moving on from rec ball, I have played for two travel ball organizations - Ohana Tigers (Indian) and Athletics (Jendro), and helped out the So Cal Breakers (Howe Team) for a few months when Ohana took a break in 2019. I currently play on the Athletics Jendro 18U Premier team and have a rigorous school and practice schedule. We'll be traveling to Florida and Arkansas this fall for showcase events and will be completing locally in both friendlies and tournaments.
My softball goals are to have a strong bat and make smart choices when hitting, improve speed and accuracy of my pitches, and be a good teammate leader on my team. Playing competitive softball has taught me time management and how to focus on both school and athletics.
Outside of softball, I like to go to the beach with my friends, photography, and play with my dog. I'm involved in school clubs and leadership programs including serving at Editor in Chief for the CHS yearbook. Last year I had an opportunity to travel to Washington DC for a journalism conference as part of the yearbook program. It was a great opportunity to interact with other journalism students and learn both photography and writing skills.
