Personal Statement

“Quiet leader.” “No drama.” “Utility player.” These are some of the things that my coaches have said about me. I will never be the loudest on the team, but I always try to set a good example every time I take the field and my teammates know I will support them no matter the outcome of the game. I love to play softball and I love being part of a team, starting my softball journey on the Crazy Socks when I was 8 years old and never looking back.  I feel comfortable in several positions – and my coaches will utilize me where they need me the most -- but my favorite position is second base. I was a starting third baseman as a freshman for my High School Varsity softball team and in addition to second base, I have played first base and outfield for my travel team. I am always willing to help my team wherever my coach feels I can contribute the most. I am very fortunate to go to the National Cathedral School which is a rigorous college preparatory school. I work very hard to balance my studies, softball, and in the fall cross country. My mom always says that when I set my mind to something there is nothing that I cannot accomplish. Playing softball at an academically competitive school is my dream and I hope it becomes a reality.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
