Anna LeSage '26 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Annalynn LeSage.  I am currently 14 years old and have been playing softball for 8+ years.  I have been on 2 travel teams, River Valley Rage for 2 years and Central Force for one year.  I am used mainly as a pitcher while on the field, but can also play 1st base and Right field too.  I currently pitch between 50-52 MPH on average, but I am hoping to average 55 MPH by the end of the year.  I also am a pretty good hitter.  I hit my 1st two over the fence home runs this year and had a .547 batting average on the year. I love playing softball, but when I am looking for something else to do I really enjoy drawing.  I joined NCSA because I am getting serious about wanting to play beyond high school ball one day.  Softball has been my best friend for many years, and I don't want to lose that connection.  What I love about the game, is how it makes me feel when I put in the effort and the time and it pays off for me.  I also look at when I fail to reach a goal as a challenge to get better and to set new goals.  I love being on a softball field.  It has been my second home for quite a while now.   I have had some great coaches over my years playing, and I want to show how much I appreciate them by continuing to play at a college level one day.  I would like to go to college to become a middle school teacher.  I either wanted to become a chef or be a teacher since I was very little, and I decided on being a teacher because I think that that would be more rewarding on a personal level.  Thanks for taking your time to read this and I hope that you have enjoyed what you read about me.
