Samantha George '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Samantha George and I am from LaSalle, IL.  I attend LaSalle-Peru Township High School and will graduate with the 2014 class.  While taking honors classes,  my current weighted GPA is 3.731 and I am ranked 57 of 287 students in my class.  I have played basketball, volleyball, and softball for my high school.  I also have played ASA class A softball since I was 9 years old.  I am a 5' 9", 150lb 3rd baseman, shortstop, outfielder, and pitcher.  I am able and willing to learn any position asked of me.  I typically hit for both power and average and have led my travel and high school teams in homeruns, triples, RBI's, and slugging percentage, ; At a recent prospect camp I ranked in the top 25 (out of 77 particpants) in all categories including a top finish in bat speed with a 71 mph exit velocity.
I am looking for colleges that offer a competitive softball program and will accommodate a health science major; specifically biology, forensic science, or pre-med.  I feel that I can compete at any level and I am willing to play for any coach or program that can use my skills, challenge and improve my game, and provide an education to accomplish my ultimate goal of a college degree.   Thank you for reviewing my profile.
