Candra Yoder '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Candra Yoder. One thing that separates me from every other talented player is my heart and dedication. I play every game with everything I have and have fun while loving and playing the game. I truly love the game of softball and couldn’t imagine my life without it. I also never give up, I always stick with it. I’m currently 16 years old and have been playing this wonderful game since I was 5. If I have a problem that I need to practice and work at, I won’t stop till I get it right, I’ll stop when I can’t get it wrong. Not only do I have my softball skills to offer to a university and team, I also have my academics and positive personality. I’ve always done well in school. I currently attend Jimtown High School with a 4.33 GPA & 2nd in my class. I also always try to stay positive and lift people up when they are down. I like to think that I can and will do big things in the future. I also have my athletic skills to offer any team. I’m a right handed 2nd baseman & outfielder. When playing second, I make smart decisions when the ball comes my way and make clean plays. I go hard on every ball that is hit my way. In the batter’s box, I have confidence and swing hard at the good pitches that come my way. I use the power from my hips to drive the ball. Overall, I think I would be a very good asset to any team.
