Ashley Pokraka '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Ashley Pokraka. I am from Whiting, Indiana. I am currently a redshirt sophomore at Iowa Western Community College. I am 5'10" and weigh around 170. i can stride to the white line of the circle. I plan on continuing my education and softball career. I am very dedicated, hard working and coachable. I am always willing to go over and above and willing to learn new things to make my game better. I am a right handed pitcher. I throw in the low 60's and can make my ball move. I can throw a dropball, riseball, curveball, and backdoor curvball, screwball, and a change up.  My best pitches are riseball, dropball, curvball, and changeball. I have very good spin and placement. I can also play 1st base and hit. I am a very patient hitter. I can also the hit the ball or lay down a bunt. Distance is not a problem.
