My name is Erin Wehler and I am a hardworking 2019 softball recruit on and off the field. I have wanted to play college softball ever since I started playing t-ball and I have an extreme passion and love for the game that I grew up playing. I take pride in both my academics and softball accomplishments, and the fact of being able to continue my career beyond the high school level excites me.
My coaches would describe me as hardworking player who never gives up on herself or her teammates. My coaches would also say that I am a strong captain and leader and that I am not afraid to speak my mind. I am positive on and off the field and am easily coachable. My teammates would describe me as fun, loud, and energetic yet serious when I need to be.
I am looking for a coach who is like a second mother/father to me when I am away at school. I am looking for a tight knit program with strong team chemistry. I would like the program to be focused equally on education as they are softball and a coach who is honest and isn't afraid to tell me when I am doing something wrong to help me become a better player.
