As I grow personally and academically, sports, music and my family keep me grounded. The responsibility of being captain of my club team motivates me to encourage my teammates to do their very best each and every play, each and every day. Earning All Conference, All Section and Rookie of the Year awards was an exciting way to end this past High School season. While I truly love catcher, third base allows me a different perspective on the infield and I love the hustle required to track down and catch a fly ball in the outfield while making an accurate throw to get the ball in from outfield. Hustle and grit are the name of the game, and I am in it to win it.
