My name is Ava Frey and I am a 2023 power hitter that plays the corners and pitcher. I enjoy being a leader and playing hard. I like to win and be the one to come through in a tough situation. I value relationships with my teammates, coaches and family. I am focused and determined, but also like to keep things fun. I believe that keeping a positive mindset is the key to moving on quickly after a mistake, which is not just for softball, but for life also. I look for ways to be a positive influence and help motivate my teammates to play to their best. I have been told I am very coachable. I can take correction and make adjustments as needed. I enjoy the strategies of the game and would like to learn more so that I can be an effective coach some day.
