Lilly Grundner '24 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was little it has always been my dream to play softball in college.  My goal is to play at a division 2 level or higher, but as long as I'm playing I will be happy. I'm a team player and love meeting new girls and coaches, and it's something I take very seriously.  I have learned how to not take things personally and realize the constructive criticism from a coach is only meant to make me a better player. Something I have learned from a coach in the past that really stuck with me was "always be where your feet are." This to me means that at every practice, game, or even when I'm in class, I do my very best to always give 110% and be fully engaged. I excel at time management and have worked really hard in school to earn good grades. Softball has been in my life for a very long time and it's something I can't wait to pursue at the college level.
