Elise Wilhelm '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball ever since I was a little girl. I love the game and it has taught me so much about life in general and how to be a good leader. I am very vocal on the field and I think that has made me a big leader on the teams I am on. I thrive off of encouraging my other teammates to grow on and off the field. I love seeing them succeed almost as much as I love succeeding myself. I am a hard, dedicated worker and like to be the best I can be at everything I do. I am a very passionate person and softball is one of my biggest passions. I am a competitive person in sports, but also in school. I always strive to outwork and out-hustle the kid next to me. I am a very coachable athlete and I like to know what I am doing wrong so I can fix it right away. I work hard to try and make my game as close to perfect as possible and always give it 110%. I am committed to playing in college to prove that all the hard work pays off. I want to be a role model for young girls like myself and hopefully encourage them to someday dream big.
