Molly McLaughlin '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Molly McLaughlin and I have been playing competitive softball since I was 9 years old.  Ever since I started playing, I have loved the game and have been working to improve. I currently play for the NH Lady Cannons 18U White, and it is my 6th season with the Cannons program. For the Cannons, I primarily play first base, but I also play third base. I have been on my high school's varsity team since my freshman year. I was the starting right fielder my freshman year and starting first baseman my sophomore and junior year. This past season, I was honored to be selected to the New Hampshire DII All-State First Team at first base. I am a versatile player and can play many different positions when I am asked to. I have worked hard to become the player I am today, and continue to make myself the best player I can be.  As well as being dedicated to softball, I am also very dedicated to my academics. I like to challenge myself and I am currently enrolled in multiple AP classes. It is very important to me that I am successful both on the field and in the classroom. I am looking for a school where I can succeed academically and pursue my goal of playing college softball.
