I've been playing softball for just about 6 years now, and it used to just be something to do but now that I'm 17 years old, I've realized how much i actually love the sport. no matter what team I'm on one main thing I'm looking to do is just be a leader. if someone needs help on something or if someone doesn't know a play were running, i want to be the one that they come to to say " hey what are we running right now??" or if someone is having a bad day before the game i can cheer them up because my attitude is always positive My past school softball season, we were 0-16, most of the time there's girls on the team sitting on the bench upset because of how they're playing or because of the score. The score (to me) doesn't show how the players play, people only look at scores not stats. For every game in the season, i played like we were only down 1 run, and the next play would get us the lead which is how i play every game so i know that I'm always in it. When I get to college i hope to become a Physical Education Teacher and by the end of high school i also hope to get my GPA from around a 3.0 to about a 3.5 or maybe even higher. Softball means so much to me that I'm willing to work as hard as i can at every practice no matter what playing time I would get.
