My name is Gianna Zanchelli, I will be graduating from Saunders Trades & Technical High School in 2019. I have been playing softball since I was six years old. I throw and bat right handed, I started playing for the Yonkers Federation. Freshman year I made the varsity softball team, as the starting 3rd basemen. The end of the season I was awarded the All League award. Later in 2016 I joined my first tournament team called Westchester Heat I played up I was with the 18u team.
I love the game, I love the family bond that the players as well as the parents form. It has been my dream to play college ball and bring the championship game home for them.
I am very teachable and strive to be one of the best. I am very competitive I believe that there is always something to learn from coaches and teammates on as well as off the field. I am a team leader and always encouraging my teammates. I will work hard and be a great leader to be added to your college.
I work hard in my school work making the Principal list I have been list number 10 out of my freshman year class of over 400 kids. I am also proud to be part of the Century Honors program. I would like to be a teacher, I am very compassionate, understanding and patient. I want to be able to help kids believe in themselves.
I strive to make my parents, coaches and peers proud of me. I would like to attend a college where I can push myself both on and off the field. I am looking for a college that will push my to my full potential.
