Personal Statement

I am going to start off with the most important part, academics. I have a 3.8 GPA. As for extracurricular activities: I am in the Drug Free club, the Mighty Milers club, the Art Club, the Interact Club, Student Council, Prom Committee, and the YEP Club. I have also peer tutored for second grade. I was a member of the Talented and Gifted program 5th through 8th grade. I have gotten multiple awards for my grades and intelligence, as well as three art awards. In the future, I plan to become a pediatric nurse in the ER. I put in as much heart into my school work, as I do in softball. I have been playing for 13 years, but have been practicing since I was old enough to pick up a ball. I have played every position which has shown me that my coaches trust me as a player, they know that I will always try my best, and that I put my heart and hustle into everything that I do. They never have to question my work ethic nor love for the game. I was voted for an award by my teammates for always putting the them first. I also received an award from my coaches for being the top hitter, M.V.P., and for having the best defensive play. I have received multiple awards for softball every year I have played at the high school level, that not many of girls had the opportunity to get. I playled basketball and play volleyball. In volleyball I have been awarded an honorable mention for division lV District 12 OHSVCA, an award for leading the team with 195 assists, leading the team with 81 points, an M.V.P. award, All League, and an All Conference Award. I have played both since 7th grade and have been on the varsity team throughout high school. In volleyball I am the starting setter. I was also included in the newspaper for all three sports. Softball has taught me very much and I am always open to listen and learn more.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
