Madison Wallace '12 Recruiting Profile

My High school graduation date is June 2012 and I am very eager to explore opportunities to continue playing softball, while pursuing my academic goals in Biology and Medical Sciences. Currently, I am enrolled at Massey High in the academic program in which I have achieved Honors standings each year. I have played multiple varsity sports the past few years, acquiring two Athlete of the Year awards. I competed for Team Ontario in the 2010 - 2011 International Softball 16u World Cup in Plant City Florida. My team had 6 wins and 3 losses narrowly missing a medal by losing 6-5 to Puerto Rico in extra innings. I was named MVP in the opener against Korea for my 3 for 3, five RBI performance and accumulated a .474 batting average through the tournament. I was also on of the top hitters in the tournament (please refer to this website) (C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Desktop\batting all games final.htm) my name appears twice due to an error in spelling see Madison Wallace and Maddison Wallace, Over the past four years, I have played for the Windsor Wildcats Softball Organization and competed predominantly in Michigan and Ohio. My Travel and Provincial coaches recognize that my greatest offensive weapon is my speed, combined with the fact that I am a natural left-handed batter that can hit, slap hit and bunt very effectively. Currently I have the honour of being drafted by the Brampton Blazers 18U team, as a pitcher and a centerfielder, to help them at the Canadian National Championships August 15th in Winnipeg.
