Sara Slitt '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach, my name is Sara Slitt, and I am from North Stonington, Connecticut. I've always expressed myself through sports and competition, and through this I fell in love with the game of softball. My attitude towards softball translates to who I am as a person: hardworking and driven. I'm constantly looking for the little things to perfect, whether on the field or in the classroom. I take my academics extremely seriously and am enrolled in the highest level courses offered at my school. I play for The Prout School, a Division 1 school in Rhode Island, and have been a varsity starter since my freshman year. I am always open to advice on how to improve and put in the extra work to be successful. I am extremely excited to soon launch my own non-profit organization, Path to the Plate, to provide scholarships to girls in Southeastern New England who want to play travel softball but are less fortunate financially. I strive to make an impact not only on the diamond, but on the world around us. I plan to attend a four-year university to receive a quality education in the area of business or finance while playing the sport I love.
