Goals/Aspirations:
My goal is to continue to play softball at as high of a level as I can for as long as I can while getting a quality education to meet my life goals. I believe that softball has helped me develop into a strong person on and off the field and feel that I can grow from these experiences into a successful adult in whatever path I choose.
Good candidate:
Hard working, coachable, focused on success, loyal teammate and a positive leader who leads by example, are a few characteristics of why I feel I would be a good candidate for your team.
Why am I different:
Without a doubt the best asset I bring is my heart and desire for everything I do. What I might lack in experience I believe I more than make up for in work ethic and passion for the game. I will never leave a game feeling that I did not give it my all. I know that my work ethic can have a positive influence on my teammates and fellow students. Whatever my coach asks of me I will do at my 110% effort. I also believe that a strong leader on the field needs to be a leader off the field by the way they conduct themselves in the community and their school. I have a close relationship with all my teachers and have currently a 4.0 GPA in my junior year. I am also working with a young girl who has experienced a tragedy in her life by being a shoulder to lean on and talk to as she works through this life changing event. I work extremely hard on my grades because they will help me to be accepted into the college program that I am striving for. If I work hard and have a positive attitude, I will determine my own fate in academics and athletics.
