My Name is Cariss Capps, Class of 2027. I started playing softball when I was 4 years old, I instantly fell in love with the game and have always wanted to go farther with it. I just love the feeling that this game gives me such as the rush of adrenaline while running bases and the accomplished feeling when making a great play in the outfield. Besides the game itself, softball for me has been about the lessons I’ve learned and the friendships I‘ve made along the way. Softball has taught me teamwork and how to always be humble. There’s just something about patrolling the outfield, knowing I have the whole field in front of me to make a difference. Softball is more than just a game, it’s a passion that runs deep into my heart and I can’t wait to step onto that field everyday.
