Aaliyah Jeter '27 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Aaliyah Jeter, and I describe myself as talented, ambitious, intelligent, hardworking, athletic, kind, and fearless. I am different from other recruits because I am coachable, hardworking, and determined. In addition, I am a very good hype man in encouraging others. I am academically strong and have earned primarily A's and B's throughout middle and high school. I am passionate about what I do in school and softball. This is me, Aaliyah Danae Jeter, and who I want to be in the future. 

     I have many goals set for myself. In high school, I want to pass my honors classes with an A/B grade successfully; participate in clubs that I'm interested in; finish most of my credits before senior year; and in softball, I want to continue to grow as a catcher and overall softball player to help my team win the championship every year. Ultimately, I would also like to earn a scholarship to study to become a nurse practitioner; to help those in need.  

    I am a good candidate for the team because I am very respectful, hardworking, outgoing, and determined. I love to be in competitive leagues like travel teams; it's more entertaining and more practice than the city league. I am okay with where I play on the field, but my favorite position is catching. I've been a starting catcher for two years. Since second grade, I've played for rec ball, middle school, travel ball, and high school. I love playing softball and would love the opportunity to play at the college level.
