My name is Jayla Jones and I have temporarily moved to North Andover, Massachusetts from South Texas. As I start my journey to navigate different majors I became interested in Animal Science due to the love and passion I have for animals. My passion could also potentially lead to Vet School. Throughout college I hope to compete for the USA Softball Player of the Year Award and the NFCA National Player of the Year award. Although I know those are big aspirations, I have never been afraid of hard work. I believe what sets me aside from other recruits is that I can adapt to change well. I don’t see change negatively but as an opportunity to grow, learn and pay it forward. I can play and thrive in different environments, cultures and positions. Softball is not just a sport to me, it truly is a mindset and a way of life.
