Softball has always been a passion of mine. One of my goals at the beginning of my softball career was to become a collegiate player. This is something I have worked hard towards for many years and I am very excited to finally see my work pay off. My collegiate goals would include playing for a competitive team where I could learn new and different skills to add to the skills that I currently have. I would like to become a leader on that team and become someone who others look up to. Another goal of mine is to excel in the athletic department as well as my academics. My grades have always been very important to me as I have progressed through my academic career. I am different from other athletes because I am an extremely competitive, committed, hardworking, self-motivated, energetic, and positive person. I am very good at balancing my athletic and academic life even while taking college prep level courses. My experience and knowledge what to do in any situation puts me at an advantage. I have been playing softball for ten years, I have played select softball for seven years, and I have had a starting spot on the varsity squad since I was a freshman.
