My name is Paige Fears and I am a 5’5” sophomore guard at New Manchester High School in Douglasville GA. I am currently a two-year varsity starter for my high school team and was recently honored by being named to the West Georgia Underclassmen Allstar Team. Last season our team advanced to the final four of the Georgia 6AAAAA playoffs, and as a freshman, I averaged 7 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
Since I first stepped onto the basketball court, at the age of six, I have aspired to play college basketball. In addition to shooting at a high percentage rate, I also have strong ball handling skills, exceptional court vision, and a high basketball IQ. I am a team leader and I try to lead by example while also encouraging and supporting my teammates. I am very coachable, and I strive to be the hardest worker for any team I am a part of.
Both my parents are educators, so I study extremely hard to maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer at my church, the Atlanta Food Bank, and the Boys and Girls Club. I am currently a member of our student government.
I aspire to attend a college where I am able to push and extend myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all opportunities and want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. It is my expectation to become an awesome role model to younger student-athletes and to make my parents proud.
