Ellana Klemp '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Ellana Klemp and I love playing the game of basketball. Playing at the college level is something I have been working hard at for many years now. I love the team aspect of the game because it's always fun to have energy with your teammates on and off the court. In whatever I do, either school or basketball, I'm driven and give 100 percent. If I make a mistake on the court, I always feel the need to take responsibility for it. I always hustle on offense and defense to get steals, rebounds, or get in front on a fast break. I am a very competitive person, which is a huge part of my drive to get better. Every time I step onto the court I work hard to get better. Whether that be encouraging my teammates, working on my own skills, or winning the game, I have a purpose whenever I'm on the court. I love learning new things about basketball, as well. I am very coachable, and I need the criticism in order to get better. I regularly volunteer at Takifit basketball clinics for 2-4 hours once a week by coaching/ assisting in drills. I love helping the next generation of basketball players in Hawaii and seeing their improvements each week. My parents always stress the importance of a good education, which has helped me become a very focused student-athlete. They help me stay focused on my schoolwork and push me to be the best player I can be on the court.
