Basketball has been a part of of my life since my parents signed me up for YBA in kindergarten. In the years since, I have grown tremendously, both in skill set and physically, but my love for the game remains the same. Once I started playing competitively for summer teams in sixth grade, I realized that I would probably never be as tall or as fast as some of the other players, so I decided to make my game a mind game. With help from my coaches and my dad, I learned to outsmart my opponents, finding their weaknesses and habits, and capitalizing on all mistakes. Shutting someone down on defense gives me the adrenaline rush some people go skydiving for. This style has become my signature, along with my work ethic in the game and at practice.
