Brooke Wahlund '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a student and a basketball player.  Both academics and basketball are very important to me and I strive to be my best in both of these areas.  I look forward to continuing to focus and excel in academics and basketball in college.

Basketball has been a huge part of my life since I can remember.  It has provided me an opportunity to compete in sport that I love to play, with fantastic teammates and coaches.  The relationships I have formed with my teammates and coaches have made me a better person and player.

I have other interests outside of basketball that exemplify my qualities as a person, teammate and leader.  I am an active member of Girl Scouts of America, where I recently earned my Silver Award (highest honor a cadet can achieve) through my work at a local hospice.  I have been an active member of Student Council since grade school, and I also participate in Interact.
